Barb McClatchie, DDS and Eric Goulder, MD, of the Heart Attack and Stroke Prevention Center of Central Ohio, they demonstrate how to integrate the oral systemic practice model into clinical practice. Patti and Lora will discuss the important role of the hygienist, and how creating consistent treatment protocols delivers outstanding patient outcomes.

Pattie DeMatteis, ASDH, RDH
Patti DeMatteis ASDH, RDH received her Dental Hygiene Degree from Western Kentucky University in 1972. After practicing for twenty five years as a periodontal therapist, in 1997 she founded Dental Hygiene Excellence.
Patti is a member of ADHA, ODHA, CDHA, a founding member of The American Academy for Oral Systemic Health and a Preceptor of the Bale/Doneen Method, for heart attack and stroke prevention. Her passion for dentistry focuses on the fast paced oral -systemic movement to prevention and wellness.
Lorie Boukheir, BSDH, RDH, EFDA
Lora Boukheir received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from The Ohio State University in 1995. She has continued to work in private practice as a periodontal therapist and dental hygiene consultant.
Lora is a member of the ADHA, ODHA, and CDHA. She has served as Continuing Education Chair for the CDHA and as a liaison for the ODHA to the OSDB. She too is a founding member of AAOSH and a Bale/Doneen preceptor. Her passion lies in improving the quality of life for every patient by implementing the oral-systemic model through evidence-based dentistry and clinical research.
