Your Patients Are Your Best Marketing Tool!

Regular Participants in the Series are exposed to practice enhancement protocols to test for, diagnose, and treat, conditions that impact both a patient’s oral and overall health.

That’s what this Presentation promises to deliver

A practice’s online reputation continues to serve an increasingly important role in its growth. In fact, it’s potentially your most valuable practice asset.

In this fast-paced Presentation Danny shares two highly effective, and easily implemented, techniques for getting your website ranked high on search engine results pages, while making your website and online review pages stand out from the crowd.

He will share his 9-step process that is guaranteed to create a steady stream of high quality patient testimonial videos.

He’ll also be sharing the secrets to securing consistent 5 star reviews where they matter most, namely, on Google, Yelp, and Facebook.

The payoff is more new patients.

4 Reasons SEO is Important to Your Dental Practice

4 Reasons SEO is Important to Your Dental Practice

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is an online marketing technique that focuses on directing organic or non-paid traffic to your website by having it rank high on search engine result pages (SERPs) for popular keywords and phrases deemed relevant by the website owner. The most common search engines (Google, Yahoo, and Bing) show a list of search results. It is these results that are ranked based on what the search engines deem relevant to the interests of its users. As most search engines do not charge a fee for SEO, any business with a website and/or social networking accounts should take full advantage of it. Many businesses hire an SEO specialist to create content with keywords that are relevant to their target audience. The more relevant the keywords, the greater the chance of a website’s content appearing at or near the top of that search engine’s top results. This is the first step toward getting your dental practice noticed by prospective patients using the internet to find a dentist in their area.

SEO and Your Dental Practice

SEO can be an efficient and valuable way to connect with the ever increasing number of patients searching online for a dental practice. Every type of business has a specific target niche, and online marketing makes it faster and simpler to make contact with those searching for that business’ product or service. Learning the ropes of dental marketing can dramatically improve your practice’s reach, and an important component of effective dental marketing is SEO. Four great reasons SEO is important for the growth of your dental practice:

1) SEO exposes you to the right people

SEO connects you with people who are looking for you at this very moment. A comprehensive dental marketing campaign that includes proper use of SEO will lead people who are searching for dental–related content to your website. A major percentage of internet traffic is controlled by the ‘big three’ search engines, namely, Google, Yahoo, and Bing. SEO allows these search engines to recommend your page to people searching for content within your niche. SEO is like a code or language that makes your site readable or recognizable to search engines. Without it, your company will be lost in a sea of other websites and content.

2) SEO widens your practice’s reach

Aside from attracting prospective patients in and around your practice, SEO allows you to reach a bigger and broader audience. SEO allows you to deliver relevant information about your dental practice, and dental medicine in general. This can be particularly valuable if you offer services e.g. dental sleep medicine, IV sedation, implant placement, or other procedures not offered by your local peers.

3) SEO gives you a better ‘look’ at your audience

SEO can also help you gain insight into what your audience is looking for. By knowing your community’s preferences, you can adjust your offering to be in better alignment with your desired audience. You will know what’s trending by being able to read their reviews for industry-related products and services and judge exactly what the best SEO is for your dental practice.

4) SEO gives you a peek into what your competition is up to

Your dental marketing plan should also involve scoping the competition. By regular monitoring those practices that are consistently appearing in the top results, you are able to gauge what your target audience is looking for and how competitive your content is compared to similar practices. In this way, you learn the tactics other practices use successfully. The ever increasing use by consumers of the internet means ever increasing opportunity to connect with new patients online. A properly configured and professionally managed dental SEO campaign will position you to harness the potential of this powerful practice building tool. AIM President To Kick Off UK-Based Dental Forum

AIM President To Kick Off UK-Based Dental Forum

On September 26th, AIM Dental Marketing® President Daniel A. ‘Danny’ Bobrow will kick off Dental Forum USA 16.

The Event serves as a forum for dental industry participants to identify and address the ever increasing challenges facing health care in general, and dentistry in particular.

Key factors dubbed “The Four Ps” influencing dentistry’s future: people, providers, payments and policies – will serve as the backdrop for this dynamic event.

“I’m honored to be associated with an event, which represents such a refreshing, welcome, and needed change from the traditional conference and exhibition format.” says Bobrow.

Dental Forum US employs a summit format combined with one-to-one interaction. Participation is by invitation only.  Dental groups and suppliers connect and discuss shared challenges, as well as networking opportunities, to build lasting relationships with potential partners.

Bobrow will deliver his This Expedition Called Life presentation.  A panel discussion, moderated by Bobrow, will immediately follow.

The Conference takes place September 26-27, 2016 at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa

AIM President To Assist ADA In Guidelines Development

AIM President To Assist ADA In Guidelines Development

Daniel A. ‘Danny’ Bobrow, MBA (finance), MBA (marketing) has agreed to serve as a consultant for the Guidelines for Practice Success™ on the topic of Managing Marketing

On February 1 he commences a nearly year long project whose goal is to further develop the American Dental Association’s Practice Management Guidelines.

Participating consultants are charged with defining practical information about marketing matters to help dentists, especially new practitioners, better manage their practices.

The Guidelines for Practice Success will eventually include a series of practice management modules developed by the ADA Council on Dental Practice with input from dental practice management consultants and content authorities.

“I’m honored to have been selected to help practitioners achieve greater success through more effective management and marketing of their practices.” says Bobrow.

Consultants will be asked to review and provide feedback (via email, a secure discussion board or conference call) on the guidelines that result from this meeting at several stages over a period of about six months. These reviews will occur after other ADA agencies and external communities of interest have provided input. We anticipate that this project will be completed by early December 2016.

This information, and all of the practice management guidelines, will be housed at http://success.ada.org, the Center for Professional Success, the ADA’s members-only online portal .

“The Council on Dental Practice is committed to providing ADA members with practice management resources, like the Guidelines for Practice Success,” says Dr. Joseph G. Unger, who chaired the Council on Dental Practice when the concept for the Guidelines was first developed. “Each module will help all members succeed by giving them information and resources that are comprehensive, user-friendly, and based on input from a panel of leading practice management consultants.”

AIM President Reaches One Of Two Planned Summits

Quito, Ecuador

At 7:00 a.m. EST On Monday, December 14th, AIM Dental Marketing® President Daniel A. ‘Danny’ Bobrow, along with his six team mates, stood at the top of Cayambe, Ecuador’s third tallest peak.

“The original plan was to summit Cotopaxi, not Cayambe, but Cotopaxi has been actively spewing smoke and debris of late, and the government wisely chose to close it to climbing for the foreseeable future.” said Bobrow from his Chicago home.

Cayambe Summit – Bobrow fourth from the left.

At 18,997 fee, Cayambe is the third tallest peak in Ecuador, behind Cotopaxi (19,342) and Chimborazo (20,670).

In the run up to the ascent, the team summited Pichincha (15,665), and Fuya Fuya (14,200), also located Ecuador.

Owing to an illness that dogged Bobrow shortly after arriving in Ecuador, he was unable to join the team in its successful summit bid of Chimborazo on December 17th.

“I was thrilled to learn of the team’s summit when news hit the blog.” says Bobrow.
